Do I need to sign up for a class?
1. Signing-Up: Preregistration is HIGHLY encouraged, however we are currently taking drop-ins. Registration guarantees you a space in the class, drop-ins will only be taken if there are extra spots available.
2. Overcommitting: Please be considerate and only register two weeks in advance so you don't commit to a class that you end up not being able to make. This takes spots from other yogis trying to get into classes.
3. No-Show Fees: You must deregister from your account an hour before the start of the class in order to get the class credit placed back on your account to be used later for another class. No-shows will have a credit taken from their account or charged a $10 no-show fee.
4. Choosing Your Class: We never want you to feel overwhelmed or frustrated, so we advise beginners to always start with easier classes and work through the options to find what works best for their body and their goals. You can find class descriptions, in order of difficulty, on the Class Descriptions page.
You can register for your class under the Class Schedule Tab. Click on the Log In/Create Account link just above the calendar, put in your email and password and then you may purchase credits and register for classes.
What do I bring?
When coming to the studio it is recommended that you bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a hand towel. If you do not have a mat, you can rent one for $2.
What time do I get there?
If it is your first time, you will need to sign the waiver, so showing up 10 minutes before class will give you enough time to sign in and get settled in the studio. For the safety of our students, the front door is LOCKED once the class starts, so please make sure to be on time.
Is there an age limit?
If the class you are planning on taking is a hot yoga class, then it is recommended for ages 16 and over. However, anyone under the age of 18 will need their guardian to sign the waiver for them the fist time they come to a class at the studio.
What do I wear?
Make sure you are comfortable and that you can move freely in what you choose to wear, there will be bending, twisting and stretching. If you are taking a hot yoga class, you will most likely sweat a lot, so beware of baggy clothing that might end up becoming heavy. Most people choose to wear yoga pants or shorts and tank tops or t-shirts.
